Improve Your Snooker Academy Dominate Snooker

Darion Cockrill, Hartlepoole, England. 12 year old Darion has just won the Under 16’s Teeside Individual title without loosing a match. Darion joined Jim’s academy in May last year and is a great prospect with a lot of talent. He has now been promoted to the Under 18 Premier League.

Rhys Clarke, 17, Stonehouse, Scotland. Rhys is dominating Scottish snooker. He has just win his first 4 ranking tournaments, the Under 21’s, and three Under 19’s tournaments and is also in the final of another 2. He recently had a good match against Judd Trump in the P.C.T. event. Pro status will not be long in coming. We are also pleased to announce that Rhys has just won the first Men’s Ranking event of 2013, winning 4 – 0.

Ethan Laing, Perth, Scotland. 15 year old Ethan having dominated the Under 14’s and winning the Scottish Championship and finishing 1st is now doing the same at the Under 16 level. He win his 2nd ranked tournament, was runner up in the first one and is in the final of his 3rd. Watch this space.

Manasawin 'Quid' Phetmalaikul, Darlington, England. 13 year old Quid has just qualified for the England International trials at Under 14 and Under 16 level which is being played in March. He is a great prospect and an international cap is just a match away.

Christian Gibson, Troon, Scotland. 13 year old Christian is beginning to fulfil his potential and was runner up in the Under 14 Ranking tournament.

Sam Kalla, Greenock, Scotland. 13 year old Sam is another pupil with a lot of potential and has just reached the semi-final of the Under 14 Ranking event. Well done Sam.

Brian Masterton, Dunfermline, Scotland. 11 year old Brian just reached the semi-final of his 3rd Under 14 Ranked event. Well done. Watch this space.

Luis Wakelin, Darlington, England. 21 year old Luis won the District League Championship recently and is improving all the time. There’s a lot more to come from this player.

Michael McGuire, Scotland. Having taken a break from snooker for a while, Michael showed his class by winning the Scottish Masters, making him a triple winner of the tournament. (I wonder if they will let them keep the trophy)
